Euthanasia
The fee for the house call, sedation, anesthesia, and euthanasia starts at $325 and goes up by weight and location. My normal service area is 20 miles from Plumas Lake; greater than 20 miles is $375. This does not include cremation. A consult is not required prior to euthanasia.
In an attempt not to raise my prices, I have decided to add a convenience fee to credit card (2.8%) and Venmo (2.1%) payment methods.
I offer a $25 discount for military and first responders.

Private Cremation
- Up to 20 pounds: $260
- 21-50 pounds: $340
- 51-100 pounds: $380
- 101-200+ pounds: see note under in-home euthanasia and cremation
Communal Cremation
- Up to 20 pounds: $160
- 21-50 pounds: $200
- 51-100 pounds: $240
- 101-200+ pounds: see note under in-home euthanasia and cremation
Additional fees apply for larger animals, longer travel, weekend/after-hour, and holiday visits.
Consultation
A consultation is not required when planning an at-home euthanasia, but it is a service offered. The at-home consultation costs $275. A consultation is not required prior to euthanasia.
